It was an ordinary day. I left home to pick up the twins from school. Sitting in my car and waiting for the bell to ring, I watched as countless poeple stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, tilted their heads back–hands to their temples to shield their eyes–and stare at the sky. What is this? Chicken Little? Well, check out what they were staring at: Create a Free Slideshow

Okay, this is what happens when your fabulous agent challenges you by calling your previous trailer “predictable” (and of course, he was right!!). Create a Free Slideshow
Midnight Zone’s Slideshow
Okay, so I got jealous *grin* of seeing everyone’s blurb for their books. LOL And granted, mine’s not even contracted yet. But I just couldn’t resist designing this. Waddya think???
I’ve been tagged—SIX TIMES!!
Okay, okay. I get the point my dearly beloved friends. 😀 In the course of a few days, I’ve been tagged by: Camy Tang, Dineen Miller, Becca Johnson, Cindy Woodsmall, Lisa Harris, and one whom I managed to stave off with a “I know where you live” warning. Hehe. Hey, I’m an espionage writer. Whaddya expect? 😀 Okay, so on to the meme… First, the rules:1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habitsabout themselves.2. People who are tagged need to write their own blogabout their eight things and post these rules.3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eightpeople to get tagged and list their names.4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling themthey’re tagged, and …

I’m losing my mind…
Well, not literally, but the other day, I was chatting with a friend on IM. And I changed my avatar to a diver with a shark swimming by. I told her the scene reminded me of Dead Reckoning. And she said, “and Midnight Zone.” Immediately, I was like–Oh, remember when Declan was diving and he got nudged by the shark that sliced his rebreather, which is how Declan got that scar.” I was nearly giddy reliving that moment. How he fought for his life and ended up being saved when Joselyn had to crack his dive helmet off with an oxygen bottle… Sigh. That part isn’t in the book. It’s the backstory. And Declan isn’t real, although I retold the …

Be sure to check out my spy blog: Wilderness of Mirrors. When you get there, be sure to sign up for the automatic FEEDBLITZ subscription–it’ll come to your email box and save you time browsing the web. Well, it’s been a while–moving to a new city, adjusting to the SLOOOOW pace here, battling with the special education dept at my twins’ new school, experiencing gravely disappointing news, and just plain living has kept me from being regular…er, with posting on the blog. 😀 Anyway, I thought I’d post some pictures. First, you get to see my new office. I have one more Audrey Hepburn poster to get framed and hung, but you can see two of them there. Also, notice …
Tricia Goyer’s Valley of Betrayal
For reasons beyond her control, Sophie finds herself alone in the wartorn Spanish countryside. What was once a thriving paradise has become a battleground for fascist soldiers and Spanish patriots. She is caught up in the escalating events whenthe route to safety is blocked and fighting surrounds her. On her darkest night,Sophie takes refuge with a brigade of international compatriots. Among thesevolunteers, she pledges to make the plight of the Spanish people knownaround the world through the power of art. Well, anyone who knows me also knows that I am a HUGE fan of Tricia Goyer‘s. I find her to be an amazing woman–friend, wife, mother, homeschooler, writer, minister… Being a homeschool mom myself, I’m absolutely intrigued that she can …
I have an agent – Steve Laube
I have an agent!!!!!!! Admist the plethora of boxes, packing tape, sore fingers, and grouchy dispositions the call came yesterday–Steve Laube of the Steve Laube Literary Agency offered representation. BOOYAH!!!!!! The time? Two-oh-six-pm to be exact. (Yes, I have it down exactly. Wouldn’t you??) My awesome crit buds and I had always said it would come when you least expect it. So very true. You see, my cell phone glitched out on me. Instead of the way-kewl song I have programmed in, the stupid thing would wail out like a European siren going NEE-NEER, NEE-NER! I was aggravated with it and snatched it from my daughter who was alarmed by the heinous ringer!! LOL I answered. It went something like …
