ABOUT CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE:

This Is the Way the World Ends.

Ronie Kendig - Conspiracy of Silence

“[A] fast-moving, roller-coaster thriller…” –Booklist

Four years after a tragic mission decimated his team, Cole “Tox” Russell has been disavowed by the United States. And that’s fine–he just wants to be left alone. But when a dormant, centuries-old disease is unleashed, Tox is lured back into action.

Tox and his former Special Forces team regroup to work with FBI deception expert, Kasey Cortes, and fiery archaeologist, Tzivia Khalon, to search the globe for answers–and a cure. As the mission leads from one continent to another, it becomes clear they’re not just fighting a plague but battling an ancient secret society whose true goals remain hidden.

With time running out and the threat for a global pandemic rising, Tox and his team realize their sole chance might be to reach back through centuries of silence to find the only answer that can save them all.

This book has been a very long time coming, and I cannot wait for you to join the mission with Tox and his team. There are a lot of awesome posts coming from my Rapid-Fire Fiction Task Force (interviews with characters, including military working dog, VVolt N629, what to eat in Israel, features on the Aleppo Codex, and much more!) to whet your appetite for this amazing story that RT BookReviews gave 4.5 stars and name a TOP PICK!

Have read most all of Ronie’s books. I appreciate getting to understand what those in the military go through. I also appreciate how much the gospel is presented. I have shared these books with friends and have great discussions.

As to discovering an artifact, I think it would be neat to find something of Queen Esther.

My first book by Ronie Kendig was “Dead Reckoning”, and I read that about 5 or 6 years ago it seems like. It’s VERY beat up now, lol, and probably about the last paperback/work back book I bought as I’m pretty much exclusively on my kindle these days. But it served to hook me on this amazing writer and storyteller, who paints the most indelible pictures with her words.

That said, it doesn’t hurt that one of my favorite authors of thriller/action/drama/Christian lit is besties with another of my favorite authors, Jill Williamson (and I didn’t find that out until last year)!

How cool is that. 🙂 Now I have to figure out who to gift it to. 😉 Ronie, you had me hooked with Dead Reckoning and I haven’t looked back. I was lost for a while there wanting an action packed read and that fit the bill! Now I delightedly show off my Ronie shelf anytime someone asks who to read.
I have been to Israel twice and was beyond fascinated with their history and the old sites of Bible times. I wanted to dig and find something! We found a few mosaic pieces of Herod’s palace in Caeserea. So crazy to think workers had put those together that long ago. Also seeing the Qumran caves where the dead sea scrolls were found just blew me away. I wanted to go exploring and find more! I want to search for the Holy grail. Of course it may not be as exciting as Indiana Jones, but one can wish. 😉 Finding the ark or where its final resting place is exactly is another wish.

Hi, thanks for offering this give-away!
I’ve read whatever books of Ronnie Kendig’s I can get. ☺
We have a limited budget for book buying, but we are sometimes able to get them thru the library or loans from other people.
I still remember the first one we read – Dead Reckoning. Wow! Action packed.
I also especially remember the beginning of the series about women soldiers.
I’ve read other soldier ones as well, but can’t remember their names.
Appreciate that these stories are not just a good read but also bring about awareness of the struggles soldiers have when they return from active service.
    Thank you.

The holy grail is quite the time-honored quest–I love both the Arthurian legends and Indiana Jones versions. But it’s really the journey that draws me more than acquiring or drinking from the grail. Just to search for it and find it . . . and then go home with the knowledge of solving one of the greatest mysteries of legend. That’d be enough.

What artifact would I hunt down if I could? Hmm… As tempting as something biblical would be, I’d be afraid of many items being turned into an idol. But something like King David’s harp or some such would be fun. Or say, the lost city of Atlantis or the ark.

I’ve read all Ronie’s books! I’d hunt for the remains of Noah and his family. But I would not expect to find an intact ark since I think they would have used the already-hewn and pitched lumber for their houses. I’d be looking for old structures made of curved gopher wood covered in pitch, remains of Noah’s vineyard and the tools they used to cultivate it with, and their story told in a rock carving or something.

I love all of your books Ronie! If forced to choose I would probably go with Wolfsbane though the Quiet Professionals and A Breed Apart series are awesome too! Conspiracy is definitely on my to-be-read list. As for searching for an artifact, I would say an early military warship or submarine.
