Twenty-five years ago today, Brian and I walked down the aisle and said, “I do.” It was the best moment of my life. I would it all over again and a thousand times. We’d hoped to be able to take a trip to Hawaii for our 25th Anniversary, but Brian spent the last 5 months unemployed, so that kinda made it impossible. We still hope to make that trip–maybe later this year (building up frequent flyer miles).
So…to make our Silver Anniversary memorable, Brian and I went into DC and ate at the Sequoia on the Potomac. Absolutely gorgeous view! My only regret was not getting a photo of Brian and I with the water behind us.

We did, however, meet up with my beautiful, amazing friend, Emilie Hendryx, who is an author and a professional photographer and owner of E.A. Creative. She took some shots of us in Georgetown by the canal to memorialize our special day! Thank you, Emilie!
