Wolfsbane Trailer

This is one of my all-time favorite parts of the writing process–the trailer. It’s so amazing to see a book brought to life through media like this. It’s also hard to believe that Wolfsbane releases in a mere two months! WOW!! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun, eh? While I have you here, I thought I’d share some more endorsements that have come in for Wolfsbane. Here they are: Ronie Kendig serves up a mix of machinegun-fast action, touching romance, and more twists than a coil of detonator wire. Get a good grip on the edge of your seat before you start reading! —Rick Acker, author of When the Devil Whistles and Dead Man’s Rule Wolfsbane is a …

Woo-hooo!!!!!! I am ECSTATIC for my dear friend, Robin Caroll, and the release of her first full-length novel, Deliver Us From Evil (B&H Publishing). Robin really hit her stride with this release, and it’s such an honor to host her here for an interview (of course, I know all her dirty secrets, but I won’t be sharing those with ya–the whole trust thing, ya know. ::grins::). Why did you start writing? I’ve always had stories to tell. Even in lower elementary school, I would write out stories in my notebooks. I began writing toward publication in the early 2000s. You have a number of books out with Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense. But this is your first full-length fiction. Can …

From September 17-21, 2008, more than five hundred writers, agents, and editors converged on the Sheraton Bloomington in Minneapolis, MN for the American Christian Fiction Writers annual conference. I worked throughout the conference in a few different capacities, but it was still a superb time! I met with the incredible Barbara Scott, my editor (hey! I actually have an editor now!!) from Abingdon Press. In all honesty, I didn’t expect her to remember much about my story since I knew she was working on the macros for multiple other books at the moment. But she had an uncanny recall! And it was so clear to me that she caught the vision and passion for Dead Reckoning. I’m absolutely amazed and …

C Gwynn, You have won Camy Tang’s Sushi for One? Please email me privately with your mailing information. Cherie J – You’ve won Robin Caroll’s Bayou Justice!! Please contact me privately with your mailing information. Now, to share just a tad more about my conference liberation. LOL It’s such a tongue-in-cheek term for something so powerful and freeing. I haven’t been the same since, and I’m guarding my heart so I don’t end up back there. I was sitting with my close bud Dineen Miller, and she was praying over me. I had this visual image in my mind of a rod–like the steel rods they use to line the ground before pouring concrete. When I saw it, I just …

Create yours at BlingyBlob.com! I am so excited about the 2007 ACFW Conference! I’ve attended the last two, but this will be my first going as an agented author. That’s a glorious feeling. Oh–speaking of which–or whom–my fabulous agent STEVE LAUBE let me interrogate…er, I mean interview him regarding his experience, advice, and thoughts on the ACFW Conference. That will be posted tomorrow, so be sure to come back!! (Finalists Robin (Miller) Caroll & Me) In 2005, I attended my first ACFW conference–and had a meltdown. LOL I was up for the Noble Theme (now the Genesis) in the Science Fiction category with my futuristic story. I was face to face with way more editors and agents than I ever …
