I’m a very traditional person. I like traditional decor. I like traditions–Christmas in a warm, loving home surrounded by family. But this year, my middle daughter is in the Disney College Program and couldn’t come home for Christmas. So, we decided to Christmas in Orlando. Phew! I tell you–I’ve been around enough people in those six days to fix me for life! LOL And we had adventure, too (more on that later, along with a rare-from-me not-so-PC commentary). Ultimately, the trip was exhausting but wonderful! I’m not anxious to repeat it, but I have no regrets!!
Pray For Paris
Absolutely heartbroken over the developing events in Paris. Please–pray for them. Pray for their country. Pray for their grieving families. Pray for them.

Creative Days
Well, thanks to my friend, Kristy Cambron, I’ve taken up verse-mapping, and thanks to many many creativists, I’ve started Bible Journaling. Here’s my newest picture from this Sunday’s message at Cornerstone Chapel. Do you do Bible Journaling? I admit, it takes me a while to make these, but that’s a good thing–it helps me slow down, think about what our pastor or the Word is speaking to me. New Suspense Contract!!
After doing the cover reveal for EMBERS, I’ve been asked a lot lately if I’ll be shifting my focus entirely to speculative novels. Hopefully with my website redesign you can tell that’s not the case.
