New Contract – Quiet Professionals
It is with extreme pleasure that I announce I’ve signed another 3-book contract with my wonderful publisher, Barbour Books, for a series entitled… The Quiet Professionals Known as the “quiet professionals,” Army Special Forces soldiers radiate an aura of competence and reserve. After being tested in every type of hazardous environment and through dangerous, unconventional, direct action and counter-terrorist missions around the world, the quiet men of the US Special Forces have no need to broadcast their deeds. Their record speaks for itself. “Special Forces are often deployed to preclude, preempt and resolve terrorist incidents abroad. They prevent, deter and respond to terrorist activities and train other nations’ military in the basics of fighting terrorism.” ~~GoArmy.com If …

Time to Recharge!
2012 has been one of the toughest years I’ve experienced in a long time–probably the toughest since my mom died in 1996. Some of you have made the journey over the past 10 months with me, some have been prayer warriors on your knees on my behalf (THANK YOU!), but this year has been wrought with trials (living apart from my husband for 6 full months, and numerous medical (THREE ER visits in 3 months) and financial emergencies ($1100 fence repair, $4k plumbing repair, $7 car repairs, etc.)) but also HUGE blessings (Wolfsbane won the Christy Award, Trinity hit the CBA Bestseller list, we bought a big, beautiful home in Virginia). All the same, I’m worn out. God has truly …
Wrestling Success
I am so glad God loves me too much to leave me as I am. Because, quite honestly? There’s a “Ronie” I don’t like. A Ronie caught up in her own little world, pursuing her dreams, and losing herself in the midst of that success-driven pursuit. So, let’s get a little real… Galatians 2:20 – I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I know live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. You’ve heard it. Read it. Said it. But. . .do you get it? I’ll keep this real—I haven’t. At least, …
TRINITY hits CBA Bestseller List!
Give a WOOF! for TRINITY! She has definitely made her mark. We just got word that TRINITY: Military War Dog hit the CBA Bestseller List for November!! HOOAH! Way to go, Trinity! On a different, but related, note, one of the elements of being a writer is connecting with readers. My mission, I’ve always felt, is to create awareness, to open dialogue about things related to the miltiary. For the Discarded Heroes, for readers to learn and be introduced to combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder. For A Breed Apart, I want readers to get to know the furry, four-legged heroes who have long been overlooked. So, it’s a coup d’état when a reader posts a review that says all of …
