Vacation Pictures…

Well, since Blogger is being so doggone finicky…I’ll post these pictures separately. SIGH.

First is me and bestest bud, Neen. *sigh* Nothing like feeling complete — after all, we are emotional clones. πŸ˜€ Right, Neen? She’s da bomb, y’all. And I’m keeping her–and I get downright possessive. tee-hee. Sorry, I’ll behave. (maybe)

This other photo–well, we’re fast-forwarding to the ultimate purpose for our trip. Brian’s sister, Julie, got married July 11. She and surfer (now-)hubby Mike said their nuptials at the beach you see behind us in this family photo. Following the ceremony, food and cake were served. We won’t mention the chocolate cake taht started melting and was soon dubbed, Lava Cake. :- After the wedding, we all downshifted into comfortable clothing and just hung out. It was really one of the coolest weddings ever.

<--Ahh, the happy couple. Do they not look happy and just completely made for each other? Mike really fits into our family. He's a mischievous guy who is totally smitten with Julie. I have no doubt that God has great things for these two!! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence!!!!!!

(right) On our way back, we were flabbergasted by this dust storm. It stretched for miles on either side of the highway and totally blotted out the beautiful scenery. As we drove through it, you couldn’t see ANYTHING. It was so bizarre because although there were strong winds, you wouldn’t have known you were in a dust storm save the tan skies and surroundings. πŸ˜€ I’ll stick with Texas weather, thank-you-very-much!!

Hey there, Neen-clone! LOL! Oh, didn’t we have such a great day? It was so awesome. Loved having you and the family there! Only wish the day didn’t have to end so fast. You’ll just have to come back!!! πŸ™‚

Love and miss you tons, girl!

    Sounds like a great trip.

Arizona weather is pretty schitzo, huh? We got caught in a dust storm Saturday that had zero visability while we were driving. Needless to say, everyone stopped and then crawled forward.

Glad you had a good time πŸ™‚

Yeah, what’s wrong with Texas weather. . .just cuz it’s not cool at night like it is here in Oregon:)

Wonderful pictures, Ronie. I wish you could have come just a little bit further-oh say, six hours more to Southern Oregon! Oh well, there’s always the Dallas ACFW conference.

    Love you,
    Beth.
