A Word From Hawk’s Grandfather

Rapid-Fire Fiction Task Force member Sarah P created this graphic that she posted on her blog, along with her review of HAWK. I just love it!! She chose a powerful quote and accented it not only with the cover of HAWK (which features Air Force veteran Brent Gilley), but the Rapid-Fire Fiction logo. Bravo, Sarah!! And mega thanks to you!!

Who Is Ronie?

Ronie Uncategorized 5 Comments

My beautiful, amazing friend, Jaime Wright, tagged me in the Twenty Questions blog game. I’ll have to fudge some of them since I’m not big on visiting other blogs. So, here goes:     1. How tall are you? 5’5″ and shrinking. 2. Do you have a hidden talent? I’m a pretty open book, so little about me is hidden. A talent that I don’t often talk about is a natural inclination/eye for design (interior and graphic). At least, I’ve been told I have an eye for it. 3. What’s your biggest blog-related pet peeve? Super long posts.<–Ditto what Jaime posted. Keep it short and use lots of white space if you want to keep my attention. 4. What’s your biggest non …

Operation Zulu Print Edition Cancelled

Ronie Uncategorized 5 Comments

I’m very sad to report that the print edition of Operation Zulu has been cancelled. My publisher says there is no demand for it; they might look at it again in a year. So to the many Rapid-Fire Fiction fans who said you were waiting until the print edition came out to read Zulu–I am truly sorry! 🙁 I’m a hardcover/hard-copy kind of girl myself, so I can relate to your disappointment.

Enjoy!   * * * * * * * * * * During one dogless time in my life, behind my back—or more like behind closed doors—Hubs and Son were looking at internet pictures of dogs. They kept showing me these adorable puppy photos. I sneezed my …

WIN a copy of THE LEGEND OF SHEBA!

Ronie Uncategorized 17 Comments

There are a few people who enter our lives and leave an indelible imprint–Tosca Lee is one of those for me. The obvious part is she’s beautiful. But there’s an incredible depth and intelligence in Tosca that forces me and others to admire her. I’ll never forget the night I won a Christy–she jumped up from her seat as I came off the stage and gave me a huge hug, celebrating with me. She’s been an amazing help to me as I plow into a new series concept, lending me some wisdom on research, sharing scholars, and even brainstorming with me! Who knew a military suspense author and an author who has penned biblical novels–as well as supernatural ones (her series …
