Well, thanks to my friend, Kristy Cambron, I’ve taken up verse-mapping, and thanks to many many creativists, I’ve started Bible Journaling. Here’s my newest picture from this Sunday’s message at Cornerstone Chapel.   Do you do Bible Journaling? I admit, it takes me a while to make these, but that’s a good thing–it helps me slow down, think about what our pastor or the Word is speaking to me. Our word is rush-rush-rush, so slowing down and contemplating is a good thing. 😀

After doing the cover reveal for EMBERS, I’ve been asked a lot lately if I’ll be shifting my focus entirely to speculative novels. Hopefully with my website redesign you can tell that’s not the case. In fact, I can finally share some great news with you! In January, I signed a 3-book, 1-novella contract with Bethany House Publishers.
